DescriptionC.Scope CXL3 Cable Avoidance ToolProduct Description:The C.Scope CXL3 Cable Avoidance Tool is a useful, handheld cable locator which prevents costly and dangerous contact with underground pipes and cables during construction, civil engineering and utility maintenance projects. The locator can be used in three different modes when searching for cables or pipes underground.Firstly, power mode picks up on the signal emitted by electric current in cables, which is the quickest way to find hidden cables. Radio mode, meanwhile, detects re-radiated radio signals from metal pipes and cables, thus allowing cable location with just the locator.Using a C.Scope SGA3 Signal Generator enables generator mode whereby a signal is artificially applied to a metal pipe or cable. This mode is also compatible with a C.Scope Sonde, Plastic Pipe Tracer, or Flexible Tracer for use on non-metallic piping.The C.Scope CXL3 provides feedback to the user via an LCD meter and a detachable loudspeaker whilst simple fingertip controls are used to operate the locator.The sturdy design of the C-Scope CXL3 makes it suitable for use on challenging construction sites.
