Test currents can be of 10mA, 1mA or 0.1mA and the tester is suitable for three- or four-wire testing. The equipment is very easy to set up thanks to four colour-coded terminals and the user can change between three- or four-wire testing with a handy captive bar.Automatic test current and range selection make measurement more precise and reliable and the Chauvin Arnoux CA6462 has three flashing LEDs that serve to warn of testing problems including current circuit fault, high resistance and high environmental noise. Readings are clearly displayed on the digital screen which has backlighting for use in poor visibility.The Chauvin Arnoux CA6462 is incredibly safe to use thanks to IP53-rated plastic cladding which is resistant to water and dust ingression, thus allowing safe use out in the field.
