Description Our handy Wood Bluebird House Predator Guard is available for placement on a bluebird box that does not have one already installed on it. It comes with pre-drilled holes and two screws ready for easy installation. Hole size is 1.5″. This predator guard prevents a Raccoon or other long-armed critter from reaching in and grabbing young or otherwise disturbing the nest. The extra 1″ depth is a good deterrent. Customers also use these to repair existing nesting boxes that may have chewed entrance holes. We highly recommend adding our Copper Bluebird House Portal as an inexpensive insurance policy.
