ABOUT THIS PRODUCT The Bed Fall Mat is a covered foam cushion, or ‘crash mat’. It is placed next to the bed, to help prevent injuries if someone falls from the bed. It is designed to be used with beds that go low to the ground, but not designed to be fallen on from a greater height, or from a bed that has bed rails up. There are high visibility tabs sewn at points along one edge. The Bed Fall Mat folds into thirds for storage. It comes supplied with a warning sign which you can place on a door handle so that carers are aware of the potential tripping hazard. This product is available in either a beige or blue color. It is a 100% heat-sealed product, making cleaning easy for infection control. WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT? This product may help prevent injury from a fall from a bed. HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT Lower the bed as far as possible and place the product on the floor. Ensure there is no gap between the bed and Bed Fall Mat.
